Meet Jennifer

Hi! I’m Jenn Castillo, born and raised South Floridian wife, mom, and nurse. My passions are spending time with family and friends, traveling, and educating and pouring love into the families of our community. There is so much information out there about childbirth and becoming a new parent, it can be overwhelming! My years of experience in pediatric and obstetric nursing, along with my education, help me to provide evidence-based education so you can make the best informed decisions for your family. 

My Story

Even though I had been helping families bring their babies earth-side for many years, it wasn't until 2014 when I became a mother myself that I learned just how unprepared I was. Shortly after returning from maternity leave, I shifted my focus to childbirth education and empowering families to make the best informed choices for themselves. 

I have since taught hundreds of classes on childbirth education, newborn care, infant safety & CPR, and breastfeeding support. I am a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) and hold other National Certifications such as Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) and Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB).  I formed Learn 2 Love Labor in 2022 with the goal to make childbirth education personalized, fun, and in a safe space for all parents to become educated with evidence-based information.

My Life

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we’ve been together more than half of our lives. We have one daughter who keeps us on our toes and a rescue dog who has stolen our hearts. My happy place is sitting on the beach, toes in the sand, listening to the waves hit the shore. I am a frequent cruiser and most often enjoy the journey more than the destination. My other loves are music of any kind, flip-flops, popcorn, newborn toes, and laughing until I cry! I am blessed beyond measure to be living this life, and can't wait to see what's to come.
